House Rules for Dogs (and Their Human Best Friends)

We’re delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs and their humans to join us on holiday! We understand that dogs are cherished members of the family, and we want everyone to have a wonderful time here at La Chasse.

To help make your stay enjoyable for all, including guests without dogs, we’ve put together a few gentle guidelines for our furry friends. Thank you for your understanding!

The Rules

1. We kindly ask that dogs stay downstairs and off the sofa and armchairs, so we can keep our space cozy for everyone.

2. For your dog's comfort, please don’t leave them unsupervised inside or in the garden unless you’re sure they’ll be calm and settled. If needed, we have small and large crates available upon request.

3. To keep things tidy, please make sure your dog is clean before coming into the house. If they’re wet or muddy, feel free to use the pantry door and let them dry off in there. We don’t provide towels for pups, so please bring what you need!

4. We appreciate your help in keeping our linens fresh; please do not wash dog blankets or throws in the washing machine.

5. Cleaning up after your dog is super important! Please bag any “doggie mess” and dispose of it in the bins provided. We’ll have bags ready for you upon arrival.

6. For feeding and watering, please use the pantry or kitchen area and ensure everything is cleaned up afterward. We’ll provide a water bowl—just leave it in the kitchen when you head out.

7. Our garden is not fully enclosed, so we ask that you don’t leave your dog alone outside.

8. To keep everyone happy and healthy, please make sure your dog is free from parasites and up-to-date on vaccinations before your stay.

What We Provide for Your Dog:

• Drinking bowl

• Disposable “doggie mess” bags

• A garden tap for washing (located on the left side of the house)

• Dog kennel (available upon request)
