LA CHASSE - OCCUPANCY AND PAYMENT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

La Chasse is privately owned and is our home. We want all our guests to enjoy the facilities and as a result kindly ask that the property is treated with the same respect that they would with their own home.

All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions as agreed to at the time of booking.

1. Bookings - A contract between you and the owners will come into existence when we receive deposit payment and accept your booking by issuing confirmation for the holiday dates shown in the rental agreement. The contract binds you & all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking. by paying the deposit, the tenant agrees to the general terms and conditions, the household regulations and the regulations concerning pets.

1.1. Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.

2. Deposit - A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the holiday price is payable at the time of booking. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before your arrival date must be accompanied by the full amount of the holiday charge including TDS and the € 400 refundable damage deposit.

3. Payment terms - The balance (including security deposit and TDS) must be paid, to arrive no later than 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation, and you will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent.

4. Cancellations - In case of cancellation the following charges will apply:

o From 8 weeks before check-in the guest will be charged the total amount of the rental deposit already paid.

o From 4 weeks before check-in the guest will be charged 100% of the total rent for their booking.

4.1. We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

4.2. Your booking will not be cancelled by us except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

5. Occupancy - The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed 6 and only those people listed on the booking form can occupy the cottage. We reserve the right to terminate the booking without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.

6. Arrival and departure - Tenancies commence at 4pm and guests are required to vacate the cottage by 10 am on the day of departure. This allows the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.

The keys can be retrieved from a key box outside of the property.

Upon receipt of the full payment, the code for the key box will be provided. If the key is lost a cost of € 50 will be charged for its replacement.

7. Smoking – Smoking is prohibited inside the house.

8. Pets – up to two dogs are allowed at the premises subject to observing the “House Rules for Dogs” as outlined. There will be an additional cost of € 20/ pet/ stay.

9. Damage deposit – In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you or any member of your party and agree to indemnify in full for any loss that may incur as a result.

9.1. Damage to property – Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event, that you notice damage in the cottage please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there have been any breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could replace them or advise us before you leave. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage found.

9.2. The damage deposit will be returned within 14 days of the end of your holiday less the cost of damage/breakages.

10. Cleaning – Cleaning cost is mandatory – the cleaning fee is € 100

11. Security – please ensure you lock the doors and close the windows when you leave your property unoccupied.

12. Subletting - You may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.

13. Internet – there is free WIFI available at the property, the password can be found in the ledger in the living room at the house.

14. Children - Children under 18 must be always supervised by their parents/guardians.

16. Any problem or complaint which you may have concerning your holiday can be reported to the concierge and she will endeavour to put matters right. Contact details can be found in the ledger in the living room.

17. We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
